Tug of War

Our class had our first tug of war match yesterday ! We didnt win but the team tried thier hardest !

Auckland trip

On the 17th of August the whole of Kahikatea went on a camp. It was lots of fun and we did alot of awesome things. First we went Ice-skating in Botnay Downs and that night we stayed at the Auckland Zoo were we did a zoo night safari.The dext day we got up early and took a very long walk to the Auckland War Memorial Museum. It was interesting to find out and remeber all those that had fought in war. That night we stayed at the Queen St Backpackers. It was good having a shower! We also went out for dinner and to see a movie. We watched Step Up 3.The next day we went to MOTAT. Which stands for Museum Of Transport And Technology. There they had alot of interesting and inter-active things to do. Then that night we went Maritime museum and slept in a mock of a boat that immagrants would have come to New Zealand in ! The next day we climbed up Mt Rangitoto and everyone was soaking wet. By the end of the day everyone was tired and just wanted to go home. But ui know i enjoyed myself and im sure everyone eles did too.

Wellington trip

Last month 15 students from kahikatea went to wellington. It was loads of fun and really exciting ! Some of the places we went were ... Parliament, Weta cave , Capital E and A whole lot more... ! heres some pictures.

Saturday Netball

On saturdays i play netball! Its lots of fun but annoying because i have to wake up early in the mornings. I play GS.

Bugsy Malone production

Last week i was in the maeroa mini production of Bugsy Malone. I played the part of Lena. It was loads of fun and a bit nerve wracking! this is me posing for the camera!

Holidays

The first term over already??? Yeap thats right two weeks of no school work. Cant wait to come back though miss all my friends.

The big box car race!

Yay!
We won the V2 Box car race on thursday.
Jaimie, Hamish, Logan and Sheridan were the runners and they did the job.
All the classes came out onto the feild and cheered on thier class room.
It was whole lot of fun what a shame i wont be doing next year at my new school.

Im working with Devon and Chelsea. Were making a monkey car! I cant wait for the race!

Swimming Sports

Last thursday we had school swimming sports.

There were all sorts of different races and even some fun events for classes. My team- Kahikatea won almost every race!!! Every team dressed up in there team colours and you could even win points for good sportsman ship! kahikateas colour is blue, as you can see. Here are some kahikatea fans. GO KAHIKATEA!!!
